Editorial Policy

Jurnal Perspektif Hukum & Konstitusi recognizes that AI tools may assist with language editing, translation, research organization, and other tasks. Such use must remain transparent and consistent with academic integrity, legal accuracy, confidentiality, and human accountability.

01

Use of AI by Authors

Authors may use appropriate AI tools for permitted support, such as grammar correction, translation assistance, or text organization. Authors remain responsible for every part of the submitted work, including legal analysis, citations, quotations, and conclusions.

02

Verification and Disclosure

Authors must verify AI-generated information, references, quotations, legal provisions, case details, and analytical claims against reliable sources. Where AI makes a substantive contribution to content, analysis, research outputs, or figures, authors must disclose the tool, purpose, and extent of use according to journal instructions. Routine spelling or grammar assistance may be exempt if the journal expressly permits it.

03

AI Authorship

AI systems cannot be listed as authors or co-authors because they cannot assume responsibility, approve the final manuscript, disclose conflicts, or respond to editorial inquiries. Human authors remain accountable for all content.

04

AI Use by Reviewers

Reviewers must protect the confidentiality of manuscripts and unpublished materials. They must not upload confidential content to AI tools or external services where confidentiality and data protection cannot be assured. AI output must not replace independent expert judgment.

05

AI Use by Editors

Editors must maintain confidentiality, impartiality, and independent judgment. Any permitted AI assistance must comply with confidentiality and data-protection requirements. Final editorial decisions remain the responsibility of authorized human editors.

06

AI-Generated Images, Data, and Legal Materials

AI must not be used to fabricate or manipulate research evidence, invent legal authorities, or misrepresent legislation or judicial decisions. AI-generated or modified materials must be disclosed where relevant and must comply with copyright, licensing, privacy, and research ethics requirements.

07

Violations

Undisclosed or inappropriate AI use that compromises accuracy, originality, confidentiality, or research integrity may lead to requests for clarification, revision, rejection, or appropriate post-publication action.

08

Editorial Commitment

The journal supports responsible use of AI while maintaining human accountability and the integrity of legal and constitutional scholarship.
