WHO WE ARE

Ideas that question. Research that strengthens justice.

Jurnal Perspektif Hukum & Konstitusi is a scholarly publication dedicated to original legal research, conceptual analysis, critical commentary, and interdisciplinary inquiry into law, constitutionalism, and the operation of legal institutions. The journal provides a forum for scholars, researchers, legal practitioners, students, and policymakers to examine legal developments, exchange evidence-based perspectives, and contribute to academic debate.

The journal welcomes work that critically investigates legislation, judicial decisions, legal doctrines, constitutional governance, fundamental rights, and the relationship between law, state institutions, and society. Contributions may draw on normative or doctrinal legal analysis and, where appropriate, empirical, comparative, historical, or socio-legal approaches.

Rigorous analysis. Responsible scholarship. Public relevance.

The journal connects robust legal reasoning with questions of constitutional accountability, rights protection, legal reform, and the practical administration of justice.

Independent and constructive peer review

All submissions undergo initial editorial screening for relevance, originality, legal-source accuracy, methodology, analytical quality, and compliance with journal requirements. Manuscripts proceeding to external review are normally evaluated by at least two independent experts under a double-blind peer-review model, in which author and reviewer identities are concealed from each other. Final editorial decisions rest with the Editor-in-Chief or an authorized Editor and are based on scholarly merit and ethical compliance.

04

Academic integrity and editorial independence

The journal emphasizes accurate and verifiable references to legislation, judicial decisions, legal doctrine, and other research materials. It expects authors, editors, and reviewers to respect confidentiality, disclose conflicts of interest, and uphold responsible scholarly conduct. Fabricated legal authorities, plagiarism, research falsification, and improper influence over editorial decisions are inconsistent with the journal's publication standards.
