The World Health Organization (WHO) reported that more than 10 milion people are infected with TB each year, with approximately 1,30 milion deaths by 2024.. Data from the Koto Baru Community Health Center indicates that the number of people with TB is increasing year by year. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nurses' therapeutic communication and tuberculosis patient recovery motivation. The research method used was an analytical deskriptif with a cross-sectional study approach, with a population of 34 patients. The sampling technique was total sampling, with a sample of 31 ,patients. Bivariate analysis used the chi-square test. The results of this study indicate that 73.5% of respondents had good therapeutic communication skills, while 82.4% had moderate motivation for recovery. Statistical tests indicate a relationship between nurses' therapeutic communication and tuberculosis patients' motivation for recovery, with a P-value of 0.00 > 0.05. This study is expected to contribute to scientific knowledge for healthcare professionals and serve as a new reference for the Koto Baru Community Health Center.
